Abstrakt: The main aim of the dissertation Writing Experience. Subcjectivity and Poetology in Aleksander Wat’s and Leo Lipski’s works is to concentrate on an unusual writing experience. Generally speaking, this doctoral thesis is an attempt to analyze and describe special concatenation of existential and textual level. Furthermore, the thesis aims to examine a peculiar experience of literature understood as a deeply existential experience of life. First chapter is an attempt to read the cover authors works as a part of thinking about modern literature experience. The primarily perspectives concern the creative writing experience and its influence on a shape of subjectivity and consciousness. All main considerations are based on very meticulous reading of works of Aleksander Wat and Leo Lipski. These authors and their works are important and significant examples of intertwined idiosyncratic experience of literature and creative poetological existence. These two aspects of life are effectuated by these authors as a certain complex of being and a peculiar form of life. The main goal of chapter is to analyse two Aleksander Wat's poems in which the specific experience of writing characteristic of the author‘s works can be recognized – the first title is JA z jednej strony i JA z drugiej strony mego mopsożelaznego piecyka, the second: Pieśni wędrowca,. The first poem presents a consciousness in a state of eclipse. This altered state of mind leads eventually to more intensive cognition and experience. All of this occurs alongside and within a textual drift. The second poem presents characteristic subject‘s voyage. In this voyage we can see two levels – the first predicates literally meaning, whereas the second - figural meaning. Hence, this poem can be read as a story about internal experience. The third chapter includes the analyses of two Leo Lipski‘s works. First, the cycle of specific textual form called „egotyki‖, a neologism created by Leo Lipski is being interpreted. The textual form of „Egotyki‖ lies on the verge between poetry and prose. However, this cycle represents all the most important problems of Lipki‘s works. The second work of Lipski, which is describe, is the novel called Niespokojni. The novel was published in 1998, after the death of its author. The key problems of the novel are absence and loss in the prewar experience. The main aim of chapter four is to summarize all the results of the project. Hereby the author of the thesis tries to indicate an overall concept for literary writing described in the previous chapters. The center of this consideration, however, lies between two anthropological concepts, namely health and illness. The main sense of an eponymous wound of writing can be located in the space created by these two different concepts. However, health and illness are interconnected categories of personal life experience which, in a manner of speaking, determine experience of writing in general. The works of Wat and Lipski are the examples of the twentieth-century literature which can be described as an inseparable union of writing and life. This reasoning is partly based on the anthropological considerations and partly on the poetics of experience, which identify literature and art as specific arrangements of human experience and as a particular spiritual exercise as well.
