Abstract

The aim of this article is the presentation of attitudes towards money of students from V4 countries. Firstly, the theoretical analysis of attitudes towards money will be presented. The empirical research was conducted in the universities in four V4 countries, in Poland in Katowice, in the Czech Republic in Olomouc and Ostrava, in Slovakia in Nitra and in Hungary in Godollo within Visegrad Grant. About 400 audit surveys were completed in each country, jointly 1556. The analysis of empirical research focuses on such issues as: importance of money in students life and spending-saving money. During the analysis the results of each nation group and also the comparisons between them were presented. In the conclusion common attitudes towards money represented by students from V4 countries and the differences were showed. Types of attitudes were also presented.
