| Abstract: | The article is an attempt to analyse the relationship between celibacy and the way of experiencing intimacy in the life of the presbyter. The author looks for answers to the question: What is the relationship between the priest’s experience of celibacy and the real experience of intimacy on the level of friendship? The article also attempts at determining certain attitudes and behaviours that can deepen the commitment to the spiritual experience of celibacy. |
