| Abstract: | The article is an interpretation of Pawel Huelle’s short-story Move. The author analyses the domain of metafiction as symbolic space, within which intertextual references co-create the represented world (E. T. A. Hoffmann’s short-story New Year Eve Night Adventures’, R. Wagner’s libretti of Tannhauser and The Ring of the Nibelung; J. Offenbach’s Tales of Hoffmann). The represented world is created through reference to Bachelard’s art of miniature. |
