| Abstrakt: | The popularity of Jane Austen in modern culture takes various forms, from book editing and screenplays devoted to the writer’s life and using or adapting the plot of her novels (fanfi ction) to biographical inspirations and book themes present in various formms of media culture (f.ex. fi lm and tv series adaptations, web series, visual novels, games, graphic novels,mangas, merchandise) and literary tourism. The article also mentions the Austenmania/Janeitism phenomenon and popculture elements related to it. |
