dc.description.abstract | In a so to speak socio-biological sub-paradigm, a body is a vehicle of biological and
cultural replicators, in a Foucault’s sub-paradigm of postmodernist humanistic sciences,
a body is the effect and subject of problematisation, a self-problematisation and
problematicised object/subject, revealing itself from a holistic and historically discontinuous
“discursive fact” of power/knowledge. Faucault’s “discursive body” is a real historical
figure and so is shame co-creating it — one of the norms (each time dictated by
power) determining historical frames of this discourse. A socio-biological “replicatorable
body” constitutes a proved effect of the natural choice, and so are its emotional reactions
and ethical practices (shame included). | pl_PL |
