Distant Language Courses in the Project "University as a Partner of the Knowledge Economy" (UPGOW)

Abstract

The article presents issues concerning the project ”University as a partner of the knowledge economy” (UPGOW) including, among others, goals, assumptions, constituents and lines of the project. It also includes the conception of preparing and conducting distant language courses as one of the important constituents of the project: methodology, structure, specificity of the field, competence of the tutor and the student, description of each course and conclusions.
