The article is an attempt to analyse the correspondence of arts in the space of musical artistic
education. The basis of correspondence is defined by the assumption that cultural products, irrespective
of the field or discipline, constitute the derivatives of axionormative rules, values and
ideas representative of particular historical formations. At the same time, the author accepts the
indispensability of the contextually-oriented reflection. The issue of the correspondence of visual
arts and music in the suggested selection concerns the music iconography, a cognitive role of visual
arts within the scope of reconstruction of an ideological, cultural and symbolic sense of music,
a community of axionormative values open to what is transcendental and, finally, osmosis of
plastic and music means of expression and an inter-semiotic translation.
In consequence, it was assumed that the space of art correspondence is an essential element
of recognizing the heritage of tradition and art experience which in a general humane dimension
of a music artistic education should presume a direct and necessary integration of various fields
and creative disciplines.
