| Abstrakt: | The article presents the motives and circumstances of the formation of an Orchestra of the ROW Philharmonic in Rybnik. It is an attempt to show its specificity both in the organizational sphere and the force influencing the environment. It presents the culture-creating role the orchestra performed in Rybnik-Wodzisław area for over 30 years and by means of the quotations from famous musicians makes an attempt to show its great importance for not only the closest environment, but emphasises the role it played on the artistic map of Poland. It also shows how big influence it had on later music development in Rybnik area. |
