| Abstract: | The article presents the history of the University of Silesia Library Serials Department between 1978 and 2007. It shows the stages, ways and tendencies of adding periodicals to the library collection. It brings closer the work of the Periodical Reading Room and the difficulties connected with storing the collection. |
