Zróżnicowanie gatunkowe komunikacji ustnej w XVII wieku

Abstract

The main subject of this article is to apply the modem linguistic concepts of spoken communication to the texts that rendered it in the 17lh century. The language material comes from a handbook of Polish for foreign learners Vierzig Dialogi written by Mikołaj Volckmar, a teacher from Gdańsk, in 1639. This is a collection of 40 dialogues on different subjects held between speakers of different age and social classes. The comparison between formal and colloquial texts has shown that the former tend to be more variable in diachronic perspective. Colloquial texts have not changed their structure or style in a significant way, which is due to the fact that the colloquial style is primary to others.
