Abstract

A formation of a model of culture based on domination of medial vlsuallty slowly changes the way of experiencing the world, widens cognitive horizons, creates new knowledge bases, but also forces to asking questions about the meaning of humanistic values within the area of ordinary and esthetic experiences. The movie culture includes both the phenomena related to commercial and independent artistic offers. The movies are a mirror of anxieties, fears, longings, hopes and joys of a contemporary man: an image of universal humanistic values can be found in many movie works. A blending of the movie culture into the area of pedagogical activities within the cultural education area is a form of activity directed at a wide-ranging, humanistic development of man. A need of creating a humanistic dimension In the new reality and understanding of culture (and the movie culture) as a way and shape of an existence of man is clear in the face of the common fascination with audiovisual culture.
