Edukacja międzykulturowa jako nowa jakość w edukacji równoległej

Abstract

The author discusses the main guidelines of intercultural education on the basis of the „Kroniki sejneńskie” (‘Sejnen Chronicles’) project realized by the ‘Pogranicze’ (‘Borderland’) institution. This detailed presentation is to present the important elements in the refutation of stereotypes. A creation of regional, religious and ethnic entities is the task of animators of the ‘Pogranicze’ (‘Borderland’) institution. The article presents which elements of the educational project make the idea of ‘small homelands’ become real. The analysis proves that education within the field of cultural consciousness can be successfully realized by cultural institutions.
