Abstract

The article presents the therapeutic process catered for an adult suffering from rhotacism. A short theoretical introduction concerning dyslalia appears before the detailed description of the whole therapy. On the basis of her speech therapy experiences, the author describes the speech disorder of the twenty‑four‑year old who incorrectly produces the sound “r” in his speech. The paper is the record of the first therapy process conducted by the author herself based on suggestions and consultations with more experienced speech therapists.
