Abstract

At the beginning the author considers the relationship occurring between the order and disorganization. He assumes that the life of a society is stretched between the aspirations for the regulation of individual experiences and efforts, as well as the behaviour uniformed by patterns and standards and the innovational and destructive processes taking place both in the normative plane and in the operative, objective and subjective one. The socio- -cultural order being a result of the complex processes integrating the values and norms and the respective patterns of the behaviour involves also justification of their objectiveness and obviousness. Basing on the empirical analysis, the author of the paper presented the problems determining the specifics of the order prevailing in the' community of Lipiny. The dimensions of the work, family, tradition, religiousness, morality, community life involving neighbourly and social contacts and cultural life in its narrower sense are of fundamental importance. The pathological phenomena bringing in the disorganization of the social life of the community under examination are considered within the frames of the above described dimensions.
