Rzecz o politycznym fundamentalizmie : czyli literacka przestroga Małgorzaty Musierowicz

Abstract

The author of the present article undertakes an attempt at placing Ble-ble [Blah-blah] by Małgorzata Musierowicz in the context of the Universal Convention on Human Rights, drawing the reader’s attention to some of the articles of that document proclaimed in Paris in 1948. The author offers then some reflections mainly on the following postulates included in the Declaration: — all people are bom free and equal as regards their dignity, — nobody can be made a slave or have an inferior status imposed upon, — nobody can be arbitrarily arrested, imprisoned, or banished from their country, — everybody has the right to express freely their views. Because of the order of argumentation outlined above, the author has tried to show a special literary and philosophical conception of the law concerning real interpersonal relationships. Such relationships are characterised by the necessity to act, or to give up action, for the sake of man’s good. The book by Musierowicz can be then considered a manual on this approach to the law, which wins her an important place in the history of actions shaping people’s views and personality. Owing to this, the book has a broadly conceived educational value.
