Reportaż podróżniczy w ujęciu współczesnej lingwistyki - problemy badawcze

Abstract

The aim of the article is to indicate chosen research issues concerning travel reportage as the object of the research of modem linguistics. At the same time this is an attempt of overviewing certain trends in the research on the text as a message in the field of linguistics. The study is a selection of issues chosen on the basis of the author's research interests resulting from the analysis and interpretation conducted beforehand. One of the issues important for linguistic genology is the typology of communication forms, assuming variety of contexts of the language message (e.g. social, communicative, cultural). Besides, historical observation of given speech genre (dynamic approach), contrastive analysis deriving from the same communication context (e.g. journalist) but also exceeding this context referring even to the intercultural contexts and the analysis of the issue of the text's subject as a factor constituting speech genre. Further linguistic investigations on travel reportage (conducted with taking into consideration research tools of text linguistics and stylistics) will allow specifying many opinions concerning this genre as well as discovering, describing and interpreting new issues connected with it.
