Tradycja romantyczna w poezji socrealistycznej

Abstract

The article presents various ways of adapting and reinterpreting the tradition of Polish Romanticism by the poets of the socialist-realist period. The author emphasise that Romanticism was not the fundamental tradition for those writers, even though they often made use of its various elements for ornamental purposes or to sacrealize the new world. The reader’s attention is also drawn to the attempts to initiate a dialogue with the Romantic tradition on the level of transforming the symbolism that creates the poetical world view.
