O niektórych wypowiedziach performatywnych w języku rosyjskim

Abstract

The present work is an attempt to analyse certain selected performative utterances which possess verbal nouns in their structure. It has been shown that the provided examples often do not realise the intention indicated by their semantic structure. In the article, three types of performative utterances have been analysed: requests, recommendations, and proposals. The examples provided in the article confirm the thesis that a great role is played by the language’s resources, which make it possible for the participants of verbal communication both to realise and to understand each other’s intentions.
