Abstract

n the age of ubiquitous public communication and the heavy criticism of its quality, this article showcases the guardians of communication, whose existence should constitute the focus of both family as well as institutional education. Those guardians, however, are not people (or angels), but rather attributes which any sender should form, use and cultivate in order to achieve success in communication and a sense of fulfillment in interaction. The author considers the revolution, values as well as media which ed to the current well‑being of the public discourse. Moreover, the author attempts to discredit the thesis regarding the threat to contemporary social communication based on understanding.
