Abstract: | The article attempts to describe the islamic revolution described by Ryszard Kapuściński in Shah of shahs. The reporter confronts the images of revolutionary chaos in Iran with Iranian culture and its distant history to show the similarities in human mentality. In order to make the reader aware of what the clash with strangeness is, Kapuściński uses concealment, omits important historical facts or even manipulates. The author of the article seeks to expose and interpret the meaning of this strategy. |
