| Abstract: | The Author discuss investigative potential of the category ‘vision of man and the world’, typically used by methodologists of history and historians of historiography, as a tool for research on the mind and the mentality of communist ruling elite in Poland after WW II. In her study she refers both to theoretical insights offered in this context by several social theorists as well as to her own empirical research on the topic. |
