Podmiot praw człowieka w perspektywie transhumanizmu

Abstract

Progress in the fields of genetic engineering, artificial intelligence, and new technologies causes some concerns regarding its impact on humanity and, in particular, on the idea of human rights. This article aims at formulating the conceptual framework for the transhuman subject, while trying to become an important contribution to the research on a wider problem, namely, the question concerning the direction of human rights as well as human freedoms development in the era of transhumanism. By analysing theoretical stances, the author attempts to establish a connection between the concept of human nature and the idea of human rights, in order to verify in what way human rights and freedoms should be granted based on the requirement of belonging to human race.
