| Abstrakt: | The article presents the results of a survey aiming at testing the teachers’ knowledgeabout stammering of children at school and in kindergarten. The respondents were askedto evaluate their own competeneces in terms of providing support to a stammeringchild. Relying on the analysis of the results of the conducted research, as well as on thePolish and foreign literature on the subject, in the second part of the article, the authorspresented the practical strategies for providing support to a stammering child at schooland in the kindergarten environment. |
