"Tam, gde nas net" Michaiła Uspienskiego i "Fantastyka" Borysa Akunina : nowy status gatunku w literaturze popularnej?

Abstract

The author, using the tools of the theory of intertextuality (R. Nycz, S. Balbus) makes an attempt to define changes within the genre in the popular literature. It seems that the popular literature follows the path of the highly artistic literature in its attempts to define changes within a genre, which is proved on the example of two texts in the Russian popular literature Там, где нас нет by M. Uspienski and Fantastyka by B. Akunin, that is, a parody and model text. A genological classification plays with a reader (assumed by text intention) which should look for the meaning at this level. The author calls this type of texts a “self‑aware” popular literature and suggests that self‑thematicising means should be the reason of including works in the area of the middle literature. A genological membership in the “self‑aware” popular literature translates the accents from paradigmatics into hermeneutics of form and introduced a dialogue situation, not devoid of a polemics with paradigm or a genological archetext.
