"Wysokie" i "niskie" inspiracje muzyczne w chorwackiej prozie współczesnej

Abstract

Croatian contemporary literature derives its inspirations from both classical and popular music. We can follow those inspirations in Croatian fantastic prose, Croatian jeans prose and Croatian metropolitan prose using two key terms: intermediality and musicality. As I have shown in my research Goran Tribuson, Nedjeljko Fabrio, Borivoj Radaković (inspired with Berlioz’s Fantastic Symphony, Bach’s Passion according to Saint Matthew, Vanilla Fudge, Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, The Rolling Stones) disclose a splendid knowledge of musical structures and test the boundaries of music in interpretations of the musical message.
