Abstract

The article was devoted to the book W miasteczku, które jak ogród Andersena…, by Zbigniew Brzozowski published in 1975 that is a collection of short stories joined by the person of a narrator and characters, as well as time and place of action. The author pays special attention to the way of creating the space of a small town mentioned in the title which, being outside the centre, is at the same time the centre‑heart of a separate world.
