"Egzotyzm utracony" w pisarstwie dla młodzieży Alfreda Szklarskiego

Abstract

The article devoted to exoticism lost in Alfred Szklarski’s works for the youth that used to be very popular and are slightly forgotten nowadays. It pays special attention to the role of exoticism and familiarity in the stories about Tomek Wilmowski’s adventures and other books written by this author. The researcher also underlines a melancholic dimension of the book on journeys to distant countries at the time of globalization and development of “a tourist industry”.
