Wyrazy funkcyjne w lingwistyce serbskiej i chorwackiej (przegląd badań)

Abstract

The article overviews the state of research of functional lexemes in South-Slavic studies- Serbian and Croatian linguistics. The work assumes such a conception of functional lexemes that was worked out for the whole research project, the results of which are included in the book. Serbian and Croatian linguistics contribute largely to the studies theoretical and material in nature especially in terms of particles. The studies on particles were presented from the earliest works from the beginning of the 20th century to the latest ones. The works concerning other types of functional words: interjections, pronouns and conjunctions are less numerous. The most important positions of Serbian and Croatian as well as other authors were presented and mentioned, as well as included in the bibliography, too. Functional lexemes in the Serbian and Croatian literature were examined theoretically, as well as on a syntactic, semantic and pragmatic level of a language. The very literature constitutes a valuable contribution to not only the Slavic literature but a broader interpretation of the phenomena connected with this group of expressions in non-Slavic languages.
