Procesy uniwerbizacyjne we współczesnych polskich i słowackich tekstach publicystycznych

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present univerbation processes in the contemporary Polish and Slovak journalistic texts. It is also important to explain the main features of journalistic style, which has a lot of features and is nowadays considered very widely. Some linguists (Odalos, Zydek-Bednarczuk) agree, that all media are - according to vocabulary - characterised in the same way, so they suggest to create one multifunction style - media’s style. The author of this paper also focuses on presenting univerbised examples from different styles (colloquial, scientific, administrative) which pervade to media’s style. There were presented structures which show the influences of another styles to contemporary Polish and Slovak media’s language.
