Abstract: The article discusses the problem of the proper names in the poetry of Kazimierz Wierzyński. T he author mentions inter alia the problem of the plurality of nominal categories which appear in the lyric poems of the author of Wiosny i wina, among which there is an overwhelming majority of toponyms – from the names of small towns in Poland to the names of the metropoleis of the world. T he author also considers anthroponyms, especially those which refer to the personalities of the world of culture (representative both of the early culture and the culture that was contemporary to the poet) and, what is particularly interesting, to sport. Moreover, the author also discusses the problem of the frequent use of propria – to which in the majority of cases one ascribes the quality of individuality – in the plural.
