| Abstract: | The essay is a critical description of the geopolitical history of St. Anne Mountain in Upper Silesia. The place is a famous Catholic sanctuary and also the symbol of the combats between Poles and Germans during the Third Silesian Uprising. That symbolism had separated two nations for many years. The author tries to find a space for new discourse between these traditions by analysis of selected literary texts. Searching the common language also refers to geopolitical reflection of Kenneth White. |
