Abstract

The author seeks here to And an answer to the question: Does there exist „New Wave” verse? the gneration of ’68 has not developed a uniform poetic sytle, instead of this there is a set of favourite tricks. Among these are to be found: the „quoted word” amd associated with this parodies of non-literary forms of expression, the „concrete word”, lingual metaphor, a launch as a principle of versification. Two most important types of New Wave verses may be distinguished: „publicist verse” and „flowering verse”. The present author places particular emphasis on the various contexts of appearance in the poetry of the ’68 generation of its „key words”. To be observed are semantic fields of such words as: truth, language, breathing, blood, lire.
