The advantages to be gained by the application of the Dalcroze rhythmics method for shaping
creative attitudes and musical sensitivity together with overall intellectual development of future
teachers for the pre-school classes. Making use of this method can have a stimulating effect in the
preparation of students for introducing the children to the world of music thanks to the fostering in
them of appreciation of music (sensitivity to its elements) and to express this in movement.
Formulated here also is a postulation to separate from the general musical appreciation classes
certain units dedicated only to motion activities to take place in suitably organised rhythmics workshops.
