The author characterizes the basic assumptions of literary education in early school education. She underlines the value of experience as the only way of perception, understanding and analysis of a literary work of art. She also presents the program analysis, included in the publication ..The World and Myself'..., which concerns literary education including also a conception of a new rendition of the set of readings designed for individual work in class and at home.
