| Abstract: | The present paper focuses on aspect in Polish and English. The author concentrates on the problem of the translation of the English progressive aspect into Polish. The first part of the paper concentrates on a very brief contrastive analysis of aspect in both the languages. Following is the analysis of the Polish translations of the English progressive aspect. The corpus material is taken from modern English fiction. |
