Abstract: This article is an attempt to demonstrate the benefits of using the action research in pre-school education. The aim of the work is to show the basic assumptions of the dis-cussed method and its usefulness in working with hyperactive and shy children in kin-dergarten. The work contains a description of the educational and research project im-plemented with using the selected areas of art (music, art, drama and dance).
