Profilaktyka logopedyczna elementem skutecznej diagnozy małego pacjenta

Abstract

The paper talks about speech therapy diagnosis and indicates screening as a useful tool used by experts in the educational setting such as speech therapists as well as teachers, psychologists and pedagogues in recognising speech impairments. The authors discuss the selected items of full speech therapy diagnosis and highlight the role of cooperation between different specialists and the advantages of introducing preventive treatment and working with the child at all stages of their education. The paper also presents the definition of phonemic awareness and the possibilities for teachers to observe and diagnose phonemic awareness deficits.
