Kategorialność komponentów nominalnych i werbalnych w analityzmach słowackich

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to describe chosen verbs with abstract nouns, which we call the analytic verb-nominal structures, such as: dať sľub/sľubiť, mať radosť/radovať sa, viesť polemiku/ polemizovať, podať dôkaz/dokázať. Desribed structures fulfill components which have some categorial value- these are categorial words. These are primary functional verbs playing roles of auxiliary verbs and abstract nouns which decide about lexical and semantic value of the whole structure. The centre of analitical structure is the verbal component. It decides about formal values. Nominal component, which has the main meaning, decides about belonging to some semantic field of action, feelings and conditions.
