Inność fascynująca - antropologiczna analiza baśni Janoscha o Panamie

Abstract

The article attempts to analyze Janosch’s anthropological tale Ach, jak cudowna jest Panama. The authors reflection focuses on the concept of locality based on the conception of bonds with the territory, spatial imagination, and above all contact with otherness which determines the formation of their own cultural identities. It is a didactic proposal that postulates shaping communication competences in children: openness, kindness, dialogue, respect for otherness and sensitivity to global and local problems. Thus, it inscribes into the subject-matter of glocal and intercultural education.
