Różnorodność narysowana na ekranie: Joann Sfar i Marc Chagall w filmowej opowieści o "Kocie rabina"

Abstract

The paper covers the educational aspects of The Rabbi’s Cat, an animated movie directed by Joann Sfar and Antoine Delesvaux (France 2011). The movie is based on a comic series by Sfar. The author elaborates on how the movie is used as a basis for classes in French schools. Additionally the author shares some personal suggestions on how to use this film in class underlining the link between the aesthetics of the film and Marc Chagall’s philosophy of art. Two sets of propositions are concentrated on the character and works of the no-name Russian painter who shows some resemblance to the artist from Witebsk.
